The following interview is with
VIVIAN Sin’amor of Lovex.
VIVIAN, thank you for spending some of your free time answering our questions, we and our readers appreciate it.
The following interview was conducted by rain and tina.
EB: Tell us about the first song you heard that cut right through you and made you want to be a guitarist.
VIVIAN: The song was probably Metallica’s Master of Puppets, released in 1986. That was the first heavy metal song I was interested in and that’s where it all started. I became a huge fan of Metallica. I wanted to become the next James Hetfield and at some point I even bought a guitar similar to his.
EB: Since becoming somewhat famous yourself, have you had the opportunity to meet any of your guitar heroes?
VIVIAN: Not really. All my guitar heroes live there in America and at the moment, we haven’t made it that far. Nevertheless, it would be great to be able to play there someday and to meet, e.g., Slash or Steve Vai.
EB: Is there someone you would love to work with but are too intimidated like still too much of a fan to deal with it?
VIVIAN: No, not really. I would like to co-operate with my own idols, there are no problems with that.
