Dingo – as a drummer, did you always dream of becoming a drummer? Do
you model your style after any particular drummers?
When I was a kid there was a lot of music at home but it wasn’t until my teens when I fell in love with drums. I really dig Tommy Lee’s (Mötley Crüe) style of playing! I guess I’ve tried to “steal” ideas as much as
possible from his drumming.
Jimi – as the vocalist of Technicolour, as a child did you anticipate becoming a lead singer in a band? What was your motivation that caused you to start on the path of becoming a vocalist?
I’d been writing songs for a long and then I decided that it would best if I sang the stuff myself.
Toni – as a bass player, did you learn by taking courses or are you self taught? If you can jam with any other bassist in the world, who would it be?
I graduated from Finnish Conservatory few years ago, but I have to say that the best way to learn the secrets of bass playing is to listen to a lot of records and other players. If I had a chance to play with anybody
in the whole world it would definitely be Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Actually I should kick him in the nuts so that he would not be able to play for one show. So that way I could replace him on that night
Gary – as a guitar player what type of equipment do you perform with?
Do you model your playing style after any particular artist?
I have a lot of guitars from which I use mainly Fernandez. My biggest influence comes from the greatest band in the world: U2. U2 guitarist “The Edge” has an excellent style and I model him also in some ways but I
always try to find something of my own and things that look like me.
