Lacuna Coil: Ask Cristina Scabbia a question

Singer Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil has issued the following statement:

“Do you want to appear in Revolver magazine? Here’s your chance, folks!

“If you have ANY kind of question you want to send to me about yourself and your life in general…send it to me at this mail adress: askcristina@revolvermag.com. You might see it printed in Revolver magazine (U.S.) and then read my opinion on… why that guy you like so much is such an asshole or why you can’t wait so bad to have a little bit of revenge on that ex-girfriend who was cheating on you with your best friend… maybe just a little help with make up or how to combine these new shoes with that read dress? Whatever that is, you’re in charge. Vinnie Paul [HELLYEAH, ex-PANTERA] is sharing the Revolver page with me, so with my column I’ll give you a more ‘feminine’ point of view about things… Think about me as your smart and cool auntie…that is always listening to you without telling anybody… I’ll be there.”

I’m a total metal head chick who really likes this dude whom i go to school with. I just don’t know how to show him i like him more than a friend.

I’m a metal head chick too!! if you really like this guy and he proves worth it.. my advice would be..just be yourself! Value the friendship first, hang out and see how things go.. if the hangout time is good and you both like each other, then tell him, trust me, he will appreciate your realness, and honesty. Be cool, be confident! most importantly be “you”!!

About you next album… My husband is going to school for recording and he is VERY GOOOD, maybe he could be you producer? He has been recording for a long time and I think that he would do a wonderful job!! I’m a BIG fan and so is he. So we know the sound that you typically go for. It would be an honor to do this for you guys, honestly. :)

hey, me and my brother wanted to start a band. we didn’t dig what other bands were playing so we did our own thing and deicided to make a Viking Metal band. My primary instrument is the drums. i’ve mastered the basics and can even do some sick double-bass licks. i’m a pretty good guitar player and can scream like Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth. here’s the problem: our drummer can’t deep a tempo to save his soul. me and him our the ONLY drummers who live for metal. i would like to kick him out but i don’t want to give up my posistion as guitar\vocals. what should i do?

Hey Cristina, I love metal, and I was just wondering where you get your inspirations for your music from?

    Hey Cristina,
I just wanted to say I stumbled across most of your music and videos here in the last few weeks. I watched the video that you did with Megadeth. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your voice has really helping me through some rough times recently…I’m probably not the typical demographic your going for, a mathematician, husband and father of 4 living children in some little whole in the wall in the midwest of the united states. Don’t worry about publishing a response to this because until I finish college here in the next year and start teaching at a local high school I’m not going to have any extra cash for magazine’s and such anyway.
I know that you’ve got alot of great people that bring your music and videos to life, but I swear you can really make a person believe your staring right into their very core through the camera…even someone as cynical and battle scared from life had to stop and star gaze for a while…I should have known you were a Gemini
Anyway, I put some of your videos up on my website and such if you want to see them or even say hi in your down time…
Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you do doesn’t matter…the small thread of inspiration you give can really save lives and not only kids….
    much respect,
    Matt (The Lion King Lives)

    Hi, Cristina

I wish to thank you for you and the bands contribution to the metal scene. I was won over by your amzing vocals when I first heard comalies – totally amazing. Your vocals are awesome. I wanted to ask if you was on facebook I noticed there is a few entries on facebook carrying your name but I wasn’t sure which one was genuine. That would be cool. Can I also ask where you will be playing in the UK when you come over? And do you accept requests from fans to get a photo with you at your gigs? Many thanks again Cristina for bringing your voice to my ears!!

Hi Cristina, you are a wonderful musician and I was wondering if you could give me a bit of advice. Ok, I want to start a band, but I don’t know where to begin. I can’t get help from my sister, she tells me that I cant do it. I have absolutely no support at all from no one in my family. Every time I mention my dream to form a band( not a serious one) I get laughed at. I’m really sick of it.

Have your say!
