Animasola
Animasola is a new young and promising band from Sweden. Their unique sound combines 80’s influences from bands such as U2 and the Simple Minds with a modern twist. As young as the band members are (they vary from 18 to 23 years old) their sound is very mature and engaging. They’re still unsigned at the moment which will hopefully change soon. Animasola has a powerful sound, beautiful intense songs and excellent vocals. What’s not to like? If you haven’t heard them yet, go check out Animasola!
Babylon Bombs
Listening to Babylon Bombs feels like entering a sleazy rock bar with a fucking great live band on a Saturday night, wishing you’d have come earlier to see the entire show of this awesome band. Old school Rock & Roll is what this Swedish band is all about. No frills, no bullshit, just the music. Babylon Bombs are doin’ you nasty here on Eurobands and are guaranteed to make you scream for more!
Big Boy
Big Boy hails now from Sweden, originally Germany. Their live show and shock antics will knock your socks off and bring the ladies to their knees. This brand of rock is a fresh slap in the face from the rock and roll your mama listened to when she was your age. The right production combined with killer live shows, this band will be one to reckon with in 2007. If you need a rock god to worship, here is your god. Hail Hail the Big Boy!
Bloodpit
Bloodpit is the third band ever to be featured on our site, March ‘06 to be exact. We have followed this band for over a year now, watching as they become better and more in tune with their music. I can promise you the new album “Off the Hook” is in fact going to be “Off the Hook”. Older fans of this band will remember when the band had “Jealousy” for only 24 hours on the bands Myspace page. When Eurobands heard this track we listened and if this type of music is the evolution of Bloodpit then we are ready to have our socks completely rocked.
Brides in Bloom
Brides in Bloom are an awesome rock band from Estonia. Yes that is the same place Encino Man Brendan Frasier was from. Who knew Estonia had great rock music? Well Eurobands of course. These guys have a new EP coming out and trust me, we will let you know how to get it. Listening to these new songs, this band has made massive improvements on sound and excelling musically. Bullet Ride
Wavering and Violent, Bullet Ride is ready to take you on a post-hardcore punkish type of rock journey all the way to Southern Finland. Tampere to be exact. Their first EP selling out within a week. This band is bringing new and exciting music to the Tampere scene that in itself is brimming over with the talent Helsinki lacks. Loyal fans with an exact understanding of what this band is trying to tell us with their music makes Bullet Ride an awesome candidate for social ability with other Bullet Ride fans.
Cinema Bizarre
For years the pop world has been missing that next big all boy band to rock our worlds. Enter Cinema Bizarre. Not only are these boys extremely talented but they are guaranteed to make you take notice of their unique fashion sense. Not your typical glam rock band, these boys follow the fashion sense of Visual Kei, a fashion movement that is highly popular in Japan. Drawing influence from Japanese Mangas and 80’s music this band is sure to be the next big thing to hail out of Germany. So hop on board for a kickass ride with these boys.
Day Eleven
Day Eleven are a talented progressive rock group from Tampere Finland. Their music seems to channel exactly what the North American and UK bands are leaving behind and missing in their music at the moment. With two successful albums under their belt these guys just continue to make kick ass music we all can enjoy. They surpass all genres; anyone who gives this band half a chance for a listen is instantly hooked and craving for more.
Gemini Five
Straight out of Sweden into your stereo G5 is a force to be reckoned with. Straight up 80’s sleaze on your asses with a hint of modern rock. Look out America, these sexy Swedes with spin you right round baby right round and have you begging for more!
Jesus on Extasy
JOE brings German Industrial music to a whole new level by adding chaotic beats and superb vocals to an already polished sound. EB’s first German band and we are happy it is a German band of this caliber. If you like German Industrial, then check out our very own JOE.
Malice in Wonderland
Malice in Wonderland put the capitol G back in glam for their home country of Norway. Song to song on their debut album, is filled with pink glitter and shiny fun lyrics that make you want to sing along while you do your make-up. This band has what it takes to bring the glam music scene back to the peak when it first began. From the darkest most decadent corners of Norway we bring to you…the finest sin.
Negative
Negative also hail from Tampere Finland. Bringing us album after album of hard-hitting glam rock, that the guys themselves coin as emotional rock. The newest album was given the much-debated name of “Anorectic”. This album shows the growth of this band to bigger and better things. Each time they become more uniformed on the music they are bringing to the world. Successfully touring Germany and soon to take over the rest of the world, NGT’s live show is not one to miss.
Technicolour
Technicolour is power pop at its finest. This band knows how to make you get up, move around and sing along to their fun rhythms and lyrics. Helsinki Finland is the band’s home and this scene is in desperate need of pop bands like this. Their videos always take you into a realm of fun, with bright colors and quirky things happening, you are transported and you’re mood changes immediately. Also bringing you deep heartfelt songs like the band’s popular track “Fireflies” you will enjoy what Technicolour brings you time and time again.
To Die For
To/Die/For is one of the most successful Finnish bands in Suomi, with five albums and hit singles topping the charts from all releases. We are proud to have this band here on our site. Planning a US tour for later this year I suggest you bulk up on your TDF knowledge now and get ready for some awesome live shows. Vocals that rival Ozzy himself combined with the gothic music in the background are what you get from this band. So put on your black eyeliner and your fishnet stockings and I will see you at the shows!
Uniklubi
Uniklubi, what can we say. They are Finnish and they sing in their mother tongue. Somehow I thought this band would never have a following outside of Suomi, but these guys have impressed us at EB with their will and drive to succeed outside of their country with a non-English language. Guess what, we love it!
Valerian
Valerian are one of the older bands here on this site. Straight from Helsinki on a mission to bring back the real rock and roll style from the 70’s & 80’s, but mixing it with some brand new ideas and 21st century sounds. Recently they were invited to cover “Mr. Brownstone”, for “It’s So Easy” a Millennium tribute to Guns and Roses. Strong guitars and the much talked about vocal skills, make Valerian an awesome addition to our roster.
