The Ting Tings are the band of the month for December. Awesome simplicity, with new age style aides in this band blowing up big time in the US very soon. Already chart topping in their home country and gaining momentum in the rest of Europe, add this band to your must watch list for some upcoming exciting stuff.
I am sure most of the NA folks have heard of this awesome explosion of great music from the UK. Yes I am talking about the Arctic Monkeys. These guys deserve to be band of the month and you can always check back for more news and updates from this awesome Brit band. For now I will give you some awesome links in case you have been living in a bomb shelter hiding out from Osama for the past 5 years and haven’t heard the awesomness that is being featured.

Many of us first came across the awesome band, Apocalyptica, after hearing their rockin tribute to metallica. Who would have known that you can rock out so hard playing cellos. This band has provent to rock music fanatics that they are definitely a band to take notice of. They have worked with several fellow high priority Finnish musicians (i.e. Ville Valo, Lauri Ylonen, etc…) and have recently embarked on duets with North American musicians Corey Taylor (of Slipknot/Stone Sour) and Adam Gontier (of Three Days Grace).

For the month of May we are happy to feature one of our fave musicians “Matthau Mikojan“. Many of us have followed his career as the former front-man for the Finnish rockband “Bloodpit” as well as the son and brother of other celebrities within the Finnish culture. On March 12th of this year, the highly anticipated solo album of Matthau Mikojan was released. Diehard followers of Matthau’s music have been eagerly awaiting the release of this album and also eagerly anticipating the release of his first video “Too Fortunate to Cry”. He has proven to critics and his fans that he has what it takes to captivate an audience and keep them on their toes trying to guess what is his next move.

Tell us a little about yourselves. Who is The Glam? How did you guys meet?
Just when you think you haven’t heard any great British inspired rock band in a while, here comes “The Glam” bursting on the scene. These boys came to our attention after we were received notification of who would be opening for fellow German Glam band “Cinema Bizarre” during their tour this month. After many requests to check out these boys we decided to give it a go and to our surprise these boys literally rocked our worlds. Since it is our mission to introduce to our readers new bands who we think would be one of the next big things we wanted to give you a brief background on this wonderful British rock inspired band.

If you are a European citizen, odds are you’ve heard of them… a lot! American? Give them a few weeks and you’ll see what the huge deal is about. Tokio Hotel are twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, respectively singing and on guitar, bass player Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schäfer.
As we all well know, Negative have parted ways with long time guitarist Sir Christus. I want everyone to know I have spoke closely with representitives from Hype Records.
I know this is a sad time for all Negative fans including myself. We cannot in any way blame Sir or the rest of the band for their decisions. Sometimes things just happen. We cannot ask for the reasons behind it. They are like brothers and some things are just private even to fans.

How is the new album coming along? Any hints for your fans?
Oh, it’s coming along just great! We have so strong material this time and a lot of songs. It will be hard to pick which ones that finally will end up on the album he, he. I can promise a great and varied album, were we do the whole specter from fast to slow, from heavy to more softer things, but done Malice style and always catchy and groovy!

We wanted to start off the new year with one of our favorite glam rock bands that we are proud to have featured on our site. We selected Malice in Wonderland because they had a great year in 2007 and they are definitely showing signs that there are far more greater things to occur in 2008 for these Rock and Roll stars.

I hope you enjoyed your holidays. We’re going to start 2008 off with the new video from Apocalyptica featuring Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil.
I’ve not listened to Cristina sing before, and I do like her voice on this song. The song and video are good, but not as good as Apo’s first release, I’m Not Jesus, which was awesome. Still, since I am a huge Apo fan I probably would like anything they released. aha

Well kids, another year has flown by. What to say about 2007.
I could do what a ka-trillion other people do at this time of year and re-cap the years’ best records or concerts by your favourite Eurobands. But then that wouldn’t be me now, would it?
And I really can’t bring myself to change for all of you over-emotional, self-proclaimed rocker boy protectors.
